JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Commercial Management, with at least 3 years’ experience in a senior role.
  • Good knowledge of FIDIC and framework agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting custom and practice – Management accounts, P&L, accounts payable, MIS reports etc.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Facilities Management operations, with at least 3 years’ experience in a senior role.
  • Good knowledge of performance based contracts – SLA and KPI regimes – Pain/gain share schemes.
  • Knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Strong knowledge of performance audit approach and procedures to ensure highest standards of service given to client.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation.
  • Interpersonal skills, initiative, analytical thinking, Persuasive and Plausible, decision-making and leadership abilities.
  • Very good command of spoken and written English required, ability to read and speak Arabic an advantage.


KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and verify findings of performance audits and apply penalties as appropriate.
  • In conjunction with the Operations Director develop reporting formats to present findings and justify performance levels.
  • Provide day to day commercial/operational support to operational projects, coordinating with Operations director and commercial consultant as required.
  • Provide ad hoc operational support to Operations Director ‘on demand’.
  • Enforce the CVI process with all department heads, verify/justify if instruction received is outwith scope, prepare costings for services provided and negotiate payment for same.
  • Support the implementation of ‘programme Absolutes’ in accordance with company ISO accreditation and IMS policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service standards and increase revenue stream through identification of scope anomalies/gaps.
  • Help to develop/review IMS policies and procedures as required.
  • Help to develop and implement related training programme and modules to C&W and supply chain staff.
  • Develop and deliver project commercial induction programme and account manual for project lead.
  • To meet or exceed Targets and KPI requirements set by senior management from time to time.
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc reports as required to agreed format and timing.
  • Other subject related duties as appropriate and required.
